Katelyn started working for the Allen Harmon Insurance in October 2014. She graduated from Olivet College with a Bachelor of Arts in History, with minors in Journalism and Political Science. She then attended Wayne State University, graduating with a Master of Library and Information Science. She obtained her insurance license in September 2012 and worked in the insurance industry for two years before joining the agency.
Katelyn is the fourth generation of her family to work at Allen Harmon Insurance, which was founded by her great-grandfather and grandmother, J.B. & Sarah Allen in 1917. Her grandfather, Jerry Harmon, and father, Allen Harmon, were past owners. Katelyn has an extensive background in customer service and serves as the Office Manager. She is in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
When she is not at work, Katelyn takes care of her two daughters, enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, camping, and cooking.
