Our Story

Allen Harmon Insurance first opened its doors in Battle Creek in 1917. What started as a local agency built on personal relationships has grown into a trusted independent insurance firm serving clients throughout the State of Michigan.


Over the years, the agency has continued to grow while keeping the same service philosophy that shaped it from the beginning: take the time to understand the client, explain coverage clearly, and recommend protection that truly fits their needs.


In 2008, the agency expanded into the metro-Detroit area with the Rochester office. This second location allowed the team to better serve clients across southeastern Michigan while continuing to support long-standing clients in southwest Michigan.


Today, Allen Harmon Insurance works with respected insurance carriers to arrange coverage for a wide range of needs, including:
