The Boys of Summer are Back
It's summer time which means baseball season! Saturday, July 19, at CO Brown Stadium, the Battle Creek Bombers will not only be playing the game we all love, but have partnered with Allen Harmon Insurance Agency and Auto-Owners Insurance for a very special night.
What makes this event so different than the others? Before the Bombers were created, they were almost called “The Cereal City Krunch.” For this night only, they will be wearing special limited edition jerseys, which will be auctioned off during the game. The proceeds will be going to the Williams Syndrome Association, which is very dear to Allen Harmon Insurance Agency. The owner's daughter, Callie Harmon, has this cardiovascular disease which affects speech and physical development. Something that this disease does not affect is their love for life, especially music. Callie will be singing the National Anthem before the game! You won't want to miss that.
But wait, there's more! Allen Harmon Insurance Agency is proud to introduce the addition of new agent and long time area baseball coach/player, Tom Sharpley, to their staff. He will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the game! In doing so, this commemorates a new beginning (big inning) for him in the insurance business. To symbolize that he has moved on to "greener pastures," the first 1000 people will receive a cow bell (make some noise) at the gate. Following the game, there will be a beautiful display of fireworks!
Now that the bases are covered, we hope to see everyone come out to CO Brown Stadium, located on 1392 Capital Ave NE, in Battle Creek, MI, on Saturday, July 19, at 7:05 PM. Gates open at 6:05 PM. To celebrate Tom's many years in the insurance industry and involvement in baseball, he has made arrangements for complementary tickets. Call the Allen Harmon Insurance Agency office at (269) 441-5156 for more information. Play ball!
